What Weeklog is
Weeklog is a timesheet generator for freelancers and consultants. You connect your Google Calendar, select the events from your week, and Weeklog uses AI to write professional descriptions — producing a timesheet you can send to your client.
Data we collect
- •Account info — your name and email address from Google Sign-In.
- •Calendar events — event titles, start/end times, and duration from the calendars you select. We read events only when you request them and only for the week you are viewing.
- •Timesheet data — the generated timesheet entries you choose to save.
- •OAuth tokens — Google access and refresh tokens, stored encrypted at rest, used solely to read your calendar on your behalf.
- •Billing info — if you subscribe to Pro, your payment is handled entirely by Stripe. Weeklog never sees your card number.
How we use your data
- •To fetch your calendar events and display them in the app.
- •To generate AI-written timesheet descriptions from your event titles and durations.
- •To store timesheets you explicitly save, so you can re-download them later.
- •We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties beyond what is described here.
Third-party services
- •Google Calendar API — used to read your calendar events.
- •Anthropic Claude / Google Gemini — used to generate timesheet descriptions. Your event titles and durations are sent to the AI provider. No personally identifying data beyond event titles is included in the prompt.
- •Stripe — handles payment processing for Pro subscriptions. We never store card details.
- •Neon (PostgreSQL) — your data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon, located in the US.
Data retention & deletion
Your account data and saved timesheets are retained until you delete your account. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at the address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Security
OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We do not log calendar event content beyond what is necessary to serve your request.
