Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Weeklog, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Weeklog (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. What Weeklog does

Weeklog is a timesheet generator for freelancers and consultants. It reads your Google Calendar events, lets you curate them, and uses AI to produce a professional timesheet document for your clients. Weeklog is a document generation tool — it is not a time tracking, payroll, or accounting service.

3. Account & eligibility

• •You must be at least 18 years old to use Weeklog.
• •You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• •One account per person. You may not share accounts.
• •You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. Free & Pro plans

• •Free plan — you can generate and view timesheets at no cost. Downloading (PDF/Excel) requires a Pro subscription.
• •Pro plan — $9/month, billed monthly via Stripe. Includes PDF export, Excel export, and timesheet history.
• •Prices may change with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• •Use Weeklog for any unlawful purpose or to generate fraudulent documents.
• •Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the API.
• •Share, resell, or sublicense access to your account.
• •Interfere with the service or its infrastructure.

6. AI-generated content

Timesheet descriptions are generated by AI (Anthropic Claude or Google Gemini). You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of all generated content before sending it to clients. Weeklog makes no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI-generated descriptions for any particular purpose.

7. Intellectual property

You own the timesheets you generate. Weeklog owns the software, design, and infrastructure. We do not claim any rights over your calendar data or the documents you produce.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Weeklog is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that the service will meet your specific requirements. Use of AI-generated content is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weeklog’s total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email for material changes. Continued use of Weeklog after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
